St Mary the Virgin, Wenvoe

Early in 2021, an inspection proposed that all mortar should be removed from the Tower and South Porch of St Mary the Virgin Church, and that the joints be raked out and the pointing renewed. With the help of the Foundation’s contribution to the cost of the project, the work has finally been completed, and the tower and porch have been stabilised and restored. The project has ensured continued use of our church and access to the attractive church grounds, not only for the congregation but for the wider community.
