Gwen Rhys Thomas
As I had received a grant by the James Pantyfedwen Foundation, I was able to study for a Masters degree at Cardiff University, a MSc in Urban and Regional Development. The grant enabled me to stay in Cardiff and in an academic school renowned both nationally and internationally.
During my further studies, I had the opportunity to develop on my undergraduate studies, ensuring that my knowledge and skills were sufficient for a career in the planning world. I have now been appointed by a planning consultancy in the city and look forward to starting in the New Year.
I’m extremely grateful to the Foundation for supporting me during my postgraduate studies.
