Tabernacle Baptist Church, Merthyr Tydfil

Tabernacle Baptist Church in Merthyr Tydfil wished to make the community area at the rear of the church building a safe and usable space from community activities. In order to do this, they had t replace the wooden frames of three windows, clad anew two internal vestry walls with timber, insulation, plasterboards, and remove the partially collapsed entrance wall and rebuild.

By the end of 2023, as these photos show, the walls have been finished and the windows fixed making the vestry much warmer and more secure. The classes, scouts’ meetings, coffee mornings and the homeless collections have all resumed and the church once again seeks to serve the community and provides a safe and valuable space.
