Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, Cardiff

Tabernacle Church was established in 2015 near Pontypridd, with members coming from areas such as Tenby and Newport. It was decided that two congregations would then be started, one in Cardiff and the other in Swansea. The Rumney Methodist Church was purchased in June 2024 to house the Cardiff congregation. There were many improvements that needed to be done to accommodate 350 each Sunday, including knocking down walls to expand the space for main worship, renovating the kitchen, stage, toilets, as well as buying furniture and appliances.

However, this work has now been completed and according to the church treasurer: “We are thrilled to announce the recent completion of renovation work at Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Cardiff. The upgrades have revitalized our space, making it more welcoming and functional for our congregation and community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the James Pantyfedwen Foundation for their invaluable support and involvement in bringing this project to completion. Their generosity has been a true blessing, and we are grateful for their partnership in enhancing our place of worship.”
