I am extremely grateful to the James Pantyfedwen Foundation for their support during my final year of study as part of the David Seligman Opera School at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. The grant given by the foundation allowed me to fully immerse myself in my studies without the worries of financial pressure.

During my final year of study I performed the roles of Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Elle in Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine. Both of these roles took lots of time and dedication to learn and without the financial help of the James Pantyfedwen Foundation I wouldn’t have been able to dedicate as much time to my studies, as I would have been working whenever possible to support myself financially.

Since graduating with a Distinction in my Masters degree, I have performed roles with Dorset Opera Festival with their production of The Magic Flute, and with Welsh National Opera in a new opera called The Shoemaker

I can never thank the James Pantyfedwen Foundation enough for their generosity, without which I would never have been able to complete my studies as part of the David Seligman Opera School. Diolch!
