Charlie Brooks

I received a grant from the James Pantyfedwen Foundation to undertake an MA in Language and Communication Research at Cardiff University. My experience completing the course was an invaluable one in developing my skills as a researcher, and I was given so many opportunities to conduct my own studies, which utilised a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods. I completed my dissertation over the summer of 2022, and I’m pleased to say that I will be graduating with a Distinction. I am now in the process of applying for an ESRC Studentship to start a PhD in Linguistics at Cardiff in October, and I hope to remain a part of Cardiff’s Centre for Language and Communication Research for a long time to come!
