Serena Roberts

I would like to thank the James Pantyfedwen Foundation for the generous contribution towards my Master of Science degree. I have successfully completed the Environmental Change, Impact and Adaptation (MSc) at Aberystwyth University with a Distinction. Without the support of the James Pantyfedwen Foundation, I would not have been able to undertake this course. I am the first member of my family to attend University and now I feel proud to be the first to complete a postgraduate degree too.

My MSc was incredibly valuable and relevant to the current world climate and provided me with the knowledge and advanced set of skills to take into my career. Importantly, the course highlighted the importance of educating the next generation and producing well rounded, curious, and thoughtful individuals. Therefore, I decided to begin a PGCE in Geography with the hopes of sharing my passion for the subject and generating inquisitive minds.

Once again, I'd like to sincerely thank the Foundation for their generosity.
