St David's Church, Cardiff

Following two major projects to re-roof the building and install a new central heating boiler, Eglwys Dewi Sant in Cardiff were keen to renew the toilets and make sure they were accessible to everyone.

"The work started mid-March 2022, and the male toilets were changed into a toilet for the disabled, which fully complies with the regulations. We then moved on to change the women's toilet into two unisex toilets. The work was completed by the end of May 2022.

It is good to be able to report that the facilities have been welcomed by the parishioners and other users. One of our parishioners said she liked the new facilities so much she "could spend time there!". And when the Coffi a Chlonc club restarted after the lockdown period, one of the attendees went to use the facilities and came back to the hall and announced that everyone had to visit the toilets before leaving!

Therefore, on behalf of the Vicar, members of the Church Parish Council and the parishioners, we would like to thank the James Pantyfedwen Foundation very much for supporting our project and ensuring its success."
