I am incredibly grateful for the support that I received from the James Pantyfedwen Foundation to complete an MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology at Bangor University.

I am passionate about Psychology and completing this course enabled me to further develop my psychological knowledge and the skills that are required to pursue a career within the field. The modules that I studied include Professional Skills in Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Advanced Research Methods, and Biological Bases of Neurological Disorders. My research project involved examining wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic and the various factors that had an influence. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and was provided with an invaluable insight into the field of Clinical Psychology, further enhancing my desire to establish a career within it.

I am currently working in an SEN school, working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and feel as though the knowledge that I gained from my course has been greatly beneficial for me in the role. I hope to gain more experience and to apply for the DClinPsy, the Clinical Psychology Doctorate, so that I can become a Clinical Psychologist within the NHS.
