I have been studying for my MA in Welsh Language and Literature at Bangor University on a part-time basis for the last two years. With the course now completed, I would like to express my appreciation to the Pantyfedwen Foundation for their generous contribution towards my tuition fees.

My time at the University has been beneficial in many ways. It has been a valuable opportunity to research an area that is of personal interest to me, namely Calvinistic Methodist theology and literature. I had the privilege of seeing one of my research articles (on the poetry of Thomas Jones of Denbigh) published in the Traethodydd earlier this year. I also had the opportunity to deliver a short lecture at an English-language academic conference, and to apply for the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol's Language Skills Certificate.

I now hold a responsible position in the public sector, where the ability to analyse diverse and complex documents and convey information in a clear and concise manner are essential skills. Undertaking the MA course has definitely helped to develop my ability and confidence in these fields. I would like to sincerely thank the Foundation for their investment in me.
