Anthony Goddard

I received a Pantyfedwen grant to study for a MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing at Oxford University, with the aim of pursuing a career in mathematical biology, specifically in cancer and Alzheimer research. As a direct result of the grant I have learned some very interesting contemporary mathematics and managed to get an opportunity to publish my first paper in a well respected journal.

I am going on to study a PhD in high performance computing at Durham University. I have no doubt that the opportunity provided by the Foundation will have a significant positive influence on my future career plans. Thank you.
