Jennifer Richardson

Jennifer Richardson received a grant from the James Pantyfedwen Foundation some 12 years ago, when the grant paid for her tuition fees for a postgraduate diploma in journalism at Cardiff University.

Since then she has pursued a career mainly in the medical/healthcare journalism sector, rising from reporter to editor of C+D, a magazine/website for pharmacists, and having now taken up a post at The BMJ (British Medical Journal) via a continuing role in the higher education of upcoming journalists as a lecturer in journalism at Kingston University. Jennifer is now the BMJ's Features Editor, responsible for commissioning, editing and writing in-depth journalistic stories with a UK focus.

Jennifer wants to express her heartfelt thanks to the Foundation for helping to kickstart this trajectory, which she has thoroughly enjoyed.
