Eisteddfodau

The James Pantyfedwen Foundation does support around 70 Eisteddfodau every year. The main beneficiaries under this heading are:

• the National Eisteddfod of Wales (£18,000 per annum)
• the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod (£10,000 per annum)
• the James Pantyfedwen Eisteddfodau (Pontrhydfendigaid, Cardigan and Lampeter) (between £8,000 and £10,000 each per annum)
• the Urdd Eisteddfodau - county and national (£13,200 per annum)

In addition the foundation supports approximately 60 smaller local Eisteddfodau each year by providing grants of up to £500 each to help them meet the cost of providing cash prizes. Guidelines for applying can be seen here.
